The Weather Network and MeteoMedia Launch a Facebook Weather Application

The Weather Network and MeteoMedia have launched their new application on Facebook. This application allows facebook users to view the current weather condition and forecast of different cities and countries around the world. The application is in both French and English and can cover over 5000 cities in Canada and around the world.In addition to weather data, the application offers the ability to send messages and current forecast information to Facebook friends. This unique messaging function was created by a team of in-house developers at The Weather Network and MeteoMedia and it is an easy and useful tool for making plans, travel arrangements or setting dates with friends."We believe this new application will quickly become a favourite among Facebook users," says Carrie Lysenko, Manager of Online Applications for The Weather Network and MeteoMedia.
